Smoked Turkey Thigh Cooking Instructions:

Wagener’s Meat Smoked Turkey Thighs can be cooked in a conventional oven and even on a grill. The cooking method is a reheating process due to the fact that our turkey thighs and legs are a pre-smoked product making them a fully cooked product when purchased. 

Since our Smoked Turkey Thighs are already cooked, the reheating process should be done in a manner that does not dry out the meat. The way to achieve this is to reheat at a low temperature for a long time while covered or wrapped.

Pre-heat the oven to 250 degrees. Place the legs on a baking sheet or cooking dish. Make sure there is a space between the thighs to allow for even cooking. Sprinkle with a small amount of water, being careful not to use too much. Cover tightly with foil or the baking-dish lid, and bake in the pre-heated oven for approximately two hours.

Cooking times vary, so test using a digital thermometer.
